In case of not using our shuttle service, I ask you the favor not paying attention to the taxi drivers, usually they say the hotels are closed, busy, full or even burned out, to the guests in order to take them to other expensive hotels where they get at least US$ 20 as a commission. Even they make you believe they are calling by cell phone to the hotel and say to the guest there is no room available neither a reserved room. A taxi driver must charge you no more than US$ 22.

Please note that you would better to get the ticket for an official taxi on the international gate out, not in the street.
In case of not wanted to take a taxi neither our shuttle service, you can come to the downtown itself by bus, so cheap (around 2 or 3 dollars per person). You must go out from the airport and take a TUASA RED BUS that would take you until La merced park so near from our hotel in the downtown San Jose, then look for 4th. Street between Ave. 3 and 5, 25 meters north side from National bank building-right side. Or take a taxi from the bus station to the hotel that would charge you more or less two or three dollars.

In case of not using these alternatives to reach the hotel and being in problems please look for a public phone an dial 110 follow the english instructions, dial 83985032 say your name and hotel capital in order to me accept the collect call and giving you instructions.

Por favor si toma un taxi no crea cuando el taxista le diga que el hotel esta cerrado, o fuera de operación, o que se quemo, esto es usual en los destinos turísticos dado que el taxista pretenderá algunas veces llevarlo a otro hotel mucho mas caro, donde el puede recibir hasta US$20 como comisión. Inclusive los taxistas toman el teléfono celular y se hacen que están llamando al hotel, para luego decirle que no hay espacio en el hotel o que su reservación fue cancelada.

También puede tomar un bus de trasporte publico de color rojo empresa TUASA al frente del aeropuerto, que los traería hasta el centro al parque de la merced, el cual queda como a 7 cuadras del hotel, el costo por persona es como de dos dólares. Estando alli busque la Calle 4, entre avenidas 3 y 5, 25 metros al norte del banco nacional Usted encontrara el hotel. La empresa Station trabaja toda la noche trayendo gente desde el aeropuerto y también llega a la misma cuadra donde llega Tuasa (los buses son color crema).
